Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Training Specialist III to lead the design and delivery of employee development programs at the Department of Corrections. This role involves creating lesson plans, training guides, participant manuals, and other materials, as well as coordinating workshops and seminars across the agency.

You will conduct training using adult education principles, assess outcomes, and advise on educational opportunities and eligibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult education principles and training techniques.
• Ability to conduct classroom training and evaluate results.
• Ability to plan, organize and facilitate adult education courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare training materials including lesson plans, guides, manuals, videos and slides.
• Determine training needs through surveys and interviews; analyze requests.
• Schedule and coordinate training classes, workshops and conferences.
• Conduct training using adult education principles and evaluate outcomes; adjust as needed.
• Counsel employees and supervisors about training opportunities and eligibility.
