Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in distribution operations, utility construction, system operations, outage coordination, or related utility support.
• Strong safety discipline and reliable electric system execution.
• Ability to manage multiple switching requests, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and relationship management with operations, construction, engineering and field personnel.
• Ability to identify scheduling conflicts and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate switching requests to support construction activities.
• Assist outage scheduling, review timing and readiness.
• Review, route, and track switching requests from submission to execution.
• Coordinate with DCC, TMC, Distribution Operations, and field personnel.
• Maintain switching schedules, calendars, logs, and approvals.
• Identify conflicts and operational constraints affecting outages.
• Communicate switching constraints to project teams promptly.
• Support safe construction through proper operational coordination.
• Manage abnormal conditions created by SPP work and return to normal.
• Verify official switching maps before and after construction.
• Develop and maintain outage coordination processes for statewide work.
• Occasionally support after-hours and weekend switching activities.
• Build strong relationships with operations, construction, engineering, contractors, and field partners.
