Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Grid Coordinator to oversee contract crews for overhead/underground construction and storm response. You will manage grid projects, ensure safety excellence, communicate with engineering and stakeholders, and coordinate with regional leadership to support restoration plans.

The role requires distribution engineering/construction experience, strong contract oversight skills, and ability to travel statewide as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive distribution engineering and/or construction experience.
• Seven years distribution experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and distribution tools.
• Ability to analyze drawings, blueprints, specifications and project documentation.
• Demonstrated safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract resources to meet safety, budget, productivity and reliability goals.
• Oversee circuit strategy, pre-construction meetings, quality control and final walkdowns.
• Collaborate with Engineering, customers, Stakeholder Engagement and other groups; communicate project status.
• Support an alternate work schedule and storm restoration planning with region leadership.
