Army National Guard Units seeks a Military Funeral Honor Program Coordinator (TITLE 32) at GS-0301-09 to lead program development and coordination of the MFHP across Florida.

The role includes promoting the program to State National Guard, active duty components, veterans groups, and other advocates; developing SOPs, policies, and operating procedures; and scheduling changes to MFHP as needed to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Provide transcripts to support education claims.
• GS-9 requires a Master’s degree or 2 years of graduate study toward a degree or an LL.B./J.D., if related.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the Military Funeral Honors Program (MFHP) operations.
• Plans, schedules, and recommends changes to MFHP; publishes SOPs and operating regulations.
• Builds a cooperative network of agencies and veteran groups to improve MFHP.
