Job summary

Patriot Enterprises seeks a dedicated State Coordinator to manage ARNG Military Funeral Honors (MFH) coordination and support for geographically dispersed service members and families. You will ensure requests are verified, providers assigned, and ceremonies conducted in line with MFH Handbook across the assigned AOR.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of mission, focus, knowledge, and resourcefulness related to MFH.
• Ability to provide dignified verbal and written responses; articulate well in sensitive situations; build rapport with Families, VSOs, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to travel and pass extensive background investigation.
• Proficient in MFH database usage and in producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Be available via telephone 24/7/365 to receive requests for ARNG Honor Guard Funeral Honors support.
• Coordinate requests for ARNG Honor Guard support, verify eligibility, and assign providers per MFH Handbook.
• Record all MFH cases in the MFH database per MFH Handbook.
• Coordinate with families, VSOs, funeral directors, and units to conduct ceremonies as per MFH Handbook.
• Attend and evaluate at least 5% of ceremonies per quarter and report within 5 business days.
• Maintain records related to MFH performance in the MFH database and coordinate issuance of rifles for ceremonies per MFH Handbook.
• Maintain training records and certifications in the MFH database; update POI and equipment records as required.
• Travel as needed and ensure compliance with Army, NGB, State NG, and IMCOM policies.
