Job summary

State Library of Ohio in Columbus is seeking a Library Consultant to lead statewide resource sharing and support library staff across the state. You will serve as the main liaison for SearchOhio member libraries, providing ongoing communication, guidance, and problem resolution.

The role includes training library staff on the SearchOhio platform, coordinating with vendors on system enhancements and upgrades, and planning statewide resource sharing activities to improve service delivery across

Qualifications

• Master's degree in library science from an accredited college or university.
• At least 1 year of budgeting and project management experience in library settings.
• At least 5 years of library science experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for SearchOhio member libraries with ongoing guidance and support.
• Train library staff on the SearchOhio platform and integrated library systems.
• Collaborate with vendors, coordinate system enhancements and upgrades.
• Plan, prioritize, evaluate, and organize statewide resource sharing activities.
