Job summary

St Marys Community Public Library in Ohio seeks an experienced Library Director to provide strategic leadership and serve as a visible, engaged community leader. You will foster relationships with staff, patrons, community organizations, local government, and stakeholders to meet evolving needs.

The role is full-time with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The successful applicant will lead 17 staff, work some evenings and weekends, and collaborate with SEO and the Ohio library network.

Qualifications

• Master of Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 4 years of library experience with progressive levels of responsibility.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours.
• Access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage library operations and supervise a staff of 17 employees.
• Be available for evenings and weekends as required.
