Job summary

SEIU Local 2015 is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the reliability, security, and ongoing development of its statewide technology infrastructure. The role involves administering servers, network systems, cloud services, VoIP, and collaboration platforms while ensuring access for staff, members, and programs.

Qualifications

• Four to seven years of progressively responsible experience administering enterprise systems, servers, networks, and technology infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange, and enterprise applications.
• Experience administering network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, internet connectivity).
• Experience supporting telecommunications, VoIP, mobile devices, and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, backup, disaster recovery, and access controls.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to document configurations, processes, and issue resolutions; communicate to varied audiences.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support servers, operating systems, workstations, mobile devices, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor enterprise systems for performance, availability, reliability, and security.
• Address cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents; enforce security standards.
• Provide end-user support and escalation for complex hardware, software, or network issues.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and maintenance activities.
