Job summary

SEIU Local 2015 is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the reliability, security, and performance of the union’s statewide technology infrastructure. The role administers servers, networks, cloud services, and workstations, serving as a technical expert and escalation resource for staff, members, and programs.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Four to seven years of progressively responsible experience administering enterprise systems, servers, networks, and technology infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange, and enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, backup systems, and disaster-recovery practices.
• Ability to communicate with staff and leaders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support servers, operating systems, workstations, and related technology infrastructure.
• Monitor enterprise systems for performance, availability, reliability, and security.
• Establish user accounts, permissions, security groups, and access controls.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and related services.
• Maintain system documentation, inventories, and operating procedures.
• Provide end-user support and service delivery across statewide offices.
