Job summary

DelDOT is seeking a State Human Resource Supervisor to oversee statewide compensation functions and supervise HR analysts. The role includes training staff, reviewing pay requests and salary analyses, and ensuring compliance with Merit Rules, FLSA/EEO, and related laws and policies.

The position requires 3+ years in compensation analysis and related HR experience, with leadership responsibilities and project management experience. Strong collaboration with agencies and HR partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or four years of professional HR experience.
• Three years’ experience in performing human resource analysis and consultation.
• Three years’ experience in providing guidance, direction and recommendations to employees or management.
• Three years’ experience in ensuring compliance with HR laws, rules and procedures.
• One year of project management experience.
• Knowledge of staff supervision gained through coursework or leading staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance, policy and procedure interpretation, eligibility determinations and recommendations to employees and management.
• Interprets and ensures compliance with state and federal HR laws, rules, regulations and policies.
• Analyzes requests and situations and defines solutions and actions.
• Leads meetings and communicates with staff, agency officials and HR partners.
• Conducts research using data from multiple sources and presents findings.
• Develops job aids, forms, or communications for HR areas.
• May participate in service delivery evaluations and vendor interactions.
