Job summary

The State of Georgia, Office of the Attorney General, is seeking an Assistant Attorney General – Gangs (Statewide) to prosecute serious gang crimes across the state, from investigation through trial. This role is based in Atlanta (Fulton County) with applications open statewide.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school and Georgia Bar in good standing.
• Two or more years of prosecution experience.
• Strong analytical and courtroom advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute serious gang crimes statewide from investigation through trial.
• Coordinate with state agencies, local and federal prosecutors, and law enforcement on gang cases.
• Collaborate with team investigators and analysts during case investigations.
• Work with regional partners to develop and enhance cases.
• Review and coordinate search warrants, arrest warrants, and subpoenas for records.
