Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s School of Social Work invites applications for the Field Implementation Support Program Manager in the Workforce Development, FISP unit. You will oversee statewide Field Implementation Support Program operations, supervise a team, and collaborate with the FISP Director to align strategy with outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in social work or a related field, 6+ years in public child welfare, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and IL license

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• 6+ years in public-sponsored child welfare settings.
• 3+ years supervising direct service staff.
• Illinois license (LCSW or LCPC) at time of hire.
• Experience with learning methodologies and training development.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Field Implementation Support Program operations.
• Provide leadership and coaching to a team of FISP Specialists/Technicians.
• Collaborate with the FISP Director to implement program strategies.
• Oversee data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Serve as liaison with IDCFS, Child Welfare agencies, and Office of Learning.
• Develop training curricula and program protocols; ensure resource efficiency.
• Represent the program in meetings and conferences across the state.
