University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Community Health Project Coordinator to support the Thrive REACH KS initiative within Family Medicine. The role focuses on engaging communities, coordinating CHW training, and leading implementation across Kansas counties.

The position involves planning, development, and delivery of CHW trainings, working closely with CHW leadership, faculty, and community partners to ensure effective training and sustainability.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified community health worker.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience coordinating training programs and partnerships.
• Willingness to travel up to western Kansas; Hybrid with occasional trips.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain CHW training partnerships across Kansas.
• Develop statewide training priorities, goals, schedules, and implementation plans with timelines and budgets.
• Co-lead development, adaptation, and updating of CHW training curricula and materials.
• Plan, facilitate, and deliver in-person and virtual trainings statewide, including Medical Interpreter and continuing education opportunities.
• Coordinate training logistics, scheduling, registrations, platforms, and communications.
• Provide coaching and follow-up support to CHWs and supervisors to reinforce training content.
• Support evaluation and reporting of CHW initiatives and participation in CQI efforts.
