Expected to open in 2024, this 60-bed, 66,000-square-foot, two-story inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operates jointly with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Mercy Health. Role Responsibilities:

1. Perform patient care considering age-specific needs.
2. Provide morning care, including bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, back care, changing linens, and room tidying.
3. Provide evening care, including washing, oral hygiene, back rubs, peri-care, linen changes, and room tidying.
4. Prepare patients for meals, serve and remove trays, assist with feeding if necessary.
5. Respond to call lights, anticipate needs, and make rounds.
6. Assist with personal property management, such as dentures and hearing aids.
7. Report and record changes in patient condition or behavior and unusual incidents.
8. Assist licensed staff with treatment procedures.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a nursing assistant course.
• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• CPR/BCLS Certification.
• Minimum of six months experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
