The Avenue at North Ridgeville is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team in Ohio. This post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility offers a compassionate, hotel-like environment with private suites and a focus on respect, dignity, and healing for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program.

Responsabilités

• Provide hygiene assistance to residents.
• Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs.
• Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse.
• Observe and report residents’ psycho-social and emotional needs.
• Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance.
• Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts.
• Use nursing home equipment properly and safely.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment.
• Attend required in-service training programs.
• Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, turning, pushing, and pulling
• Use of both hands and arms
• Exposure to odors, body secretions, and excrements
• Potential exposure to behavioral disorders
• Must be able to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively
