The Avenue at Medina is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Medina, Ohio. We are seeking dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support daily living activities in a safe, dignified environment.

As an STNA, you will assist with hygiene, feeding, documentation, and observe residents’ well-being, reporting changes to the charge nurse. We offer daily pay, competitive wages, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifikationen

• Must have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program, or be enrolled and complete the program within four months of hire

• Provide hygiene assistance to residents
• Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs
• Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse
• Observe and report residents’ psycho-social and emotional needs
• Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions
• Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
• Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts
• Use nursing home equipment properly and safely
• Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment
• Attend required in-service training programs
• Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Frequent bending, turning, pushing, and pulling

• Use of both hands and arms

• Exposure to odors, body secretions, and excrements

• Potential exposure to behavioral disorders

• Must be able to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively
