Job summary

CareCore Health in Chillicothe is seeking dedicated caregivers for full-time day shifts (6am-6pm) and PRN coverage across all shifts to provide compassionate care to residents.

You will assist with ADLs, meals, transfer support, and transportation, while taking vitals and maintaining accurate documentation in collaboration with nursing staff. Emphasis on resident safety, call lights, rails, and universal precautions.

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the State of Ohio with an STNA Certificate.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and gentle handling for patients.
• Assist with transportation, meals, ADLs, and transfers.
• Obtain vitals and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff.
• Ensure resident safety with proper use of call lights, side rails, and dry floors.
• Follow universal precautions at all times.
