Job summary

Patriot Enterprises LLC provides ARNG Military Funeral Honors and Survivor Outreach Services support to geographically dispersed service members and families. SOS State Coordinators offer information, referrals, and outreach to survivors in times of crisis after the loss of a service member, coordinating with CAOs and ensuring care within two weeks of CAO checklist completion.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of mission, focus, and resourcefulness related to SOS.
• Emotional maturity, tact, and attentive listening.
• Ability to identify available resources to help families and survivors.
• Articulate verbal and written communication in sensitive situations.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Be available via telephone 24/7/365 to receive requests for assistance.
• Contact and/or meet with Survivors during transitions and milestone events.
• Provide information on ARNG resilience programs and benefits.
• Coordinate and liaison with civilian and military service providers.
• Facilitate referrals and follow-up for outstanding issues with Survivors.
• Maintain a directory of resources and partners for military families.
• Coordinate with CAC Benefit Coordinator and ACS Support Coordinators.
• Arrange referrals for financial assistance from various sources.
• Create SOS program slides for trainings and briefings and serve as central point of contact.
• Maintain contact with Survivors through mailed communications.
• Support shipping reimbursements and maintain expense logs.
• Create journal entries documenting SOS cases in systems of record.
• Provide required data/information to higher-level programs upon request.
