Job summary

Patriot-Enterprises-LL seeks a dedicated SOS Coordinator to support Army National Guard families and survivors across the state. You will serve as a primary point of contact, providing information, referrals, and crisis outreach as described in the SOS program.

This role requires compassionate communication, ability to build partnerships with VSOs and service providers, and strong organizational skills. A high school diploma, willingness to travel, and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• SOS knowledge and resourcefulness to help military families and survivors.
• Ability to provide dignified verbal and written responses in sensitive situations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Self-starter with good time management skills.
• Ability to travel to meet Survivors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be available via telephone 24/7/365 to receive requests for assistance from constituents.
• Contact and/or meet with each Survivor during transitions and milestone events.
• Provide information on ARNG resilience programs and available benefits.
• Coordinate with civilian and military service providers and SOS stakeholders.
• Facilitate referrals and follow-up with Survivors for resolutions.
• Maintain a directory of resources and organizations to assist families and survivors.
• Coordinate with CAC Benefit Coordinator and SOS staff in service delivery.
• Coordinate referrals for financial assistance from military and civilian organizations.
• Create SOS program slides for trainings and briefings and serve as the central POC.
• Maintain contact with survivors by mailing cards and invitations as appropriate.
• Support shipping expense reimbursements and log expenditures as required.
• Create journal entries documenting SOS cases in systems of record.
• Provide required data to ACSIM, IMCOM, and ARNG when requested.
