Learning Care Group is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher in New York to plan, assess and instruct according to each child’s needs and program requirements. This role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences and mentoring fellow teachers.

You will lead classroom management, promote holistic child development, and foster strong relationships with families to support student achievement and center success.

The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead onclassroom managementand curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Pre-K program requirements.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $21-28 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.

• Monday-Friday work week
