Job summary

Recidiviz is hiring a State Partnerships Manager to build and manage relationships with state correctional agencies, guiding data-driven decisions and product alignment. The role requires regular travel to meetings, prisons, and parole offices, with remote work within the United States.

You will partner with state leaders, communicate state needs to product, analytics, and engineering, and drive partnerships toward impact and financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Be a proactive problem solver with a bias to act.
• Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and implementing changes.
• Experience in or with state governments and building quick trust in new environments.
• Ability to design and implement replicable processes with clear ownership.
• Open-minded, humble, curious, and able to listen actively.
• Comfortable with data and technology; able to guide analytics and product teams.
• Experience in account management, product management, political strategy/lobbying, business development, policy, or similar.
• Willing and able to travel frequently to state facilities and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with state prison agencies and internal teams to align objectives.
• Document needs of correctional actors and justice-involved individuals.
• Adapt Recidiviz offerings to partner state needs and drive data-driven decisions.
• Articulate steps for product, design, data, and engineering to support state objectives.
• Drive partnerships toward impact and financial sustainability.
• Navigate high-intensity environments with incarcerated individuals and staff.
