Job summary

The Kentucky Department of Parks is accepting applications for a Park Worker I in the Housekeeping Unit at Barren River Lake State Resort Park, near Mammoth Cave. This is a full-time role with overtime eligibility, reporting to the Housekeeper Supervisor, and offers state benefits and retirement.

You will clean guest rooms, common areas, and support setup for meetings while delivering excellent guest service. Work is outdoors and indoors at the lodge complex in Lucas, KY.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of guest rooms and cottages.
• Cleaning of common areas.
• Cleaning of the lodge, restaurant and common area bathroom facilities.
• Setting up and tearing down meeting rooms in the convention center.
• Delivering guest service to park guests.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance as directed.
• Assisting the Housekeeping department with other duties.
