Qualifications
- High School Graduate required.
- Two years golf course maintenance experience required.
- Associate's degree in plant sciences or Turfgrass Certification can substitute for one year of experience.
- Must obtain Kentucky Pesticide Applicator License within six months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist Golf Course Superintendent in all phases and agronomic operations on the golf course.
- Assist in developing long term plans, budgeting plans, and chemical programs.
- Lead staff in projects and routine maintenance activities.
- Irrigation repair, installation, and application to turf.
- Calibrate and operate the equipment necessary to apply chemicals and fertilizers.
