Job summary

Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Park Worker I for the Rowena Landing Restaurant at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park in Jamestown, KY. This full-time position supports front-of-house and collaborates with back-of-house and other departments to deliver exceptional guest service throughout the year.

Applicants must be prepared to work indoors and outdoors, maintain a high grooming standard, and meet park policies while providing friendly service in a premier resort setting along Lake

Qualifications

• Experience is not required but the role emphasizes good guest service, teamwork and the ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to follow park standards and operate a POS system.
• Excellent grooming and professionalism expected.

Responsibilities

• Stock waitress station and buffet unit with dishes, mugs, glasses, etc.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum dining room floors.
• Clear dirty dishes from tables and wipe tables.
• Janitorial/cleaning duties for the Dining Room.
• Follow rules, regulations and policies under Dining Room Supervisor.
• Operate Point of Sale system to ring up guests.
• Perform cash count procedures at end of shift.

The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a motivated team leader with a passion for delivering exceptionalguest service as our new Park Worker I for the Rowena Landing Restaurant at the Lake Cumberland State ResortPark, located on the beautiful 60 thousand plus acre Lake Cumberland. This Resort Park is one of the premierlodging and dining facilities in the area. For decades, we have been serving our guests in our 200-seatrestaurant with panoramic views of Lake Cumberland. In addition to front-of-house operations, you will workclosely with the back of the house operations, group sales and other departments to provide delivery ofexceptional guest services for our Rowena Landing Restaurant throughout the year.

• Follows departmental rules, regulations, and policies under the direction of Dining Room Supervisor.
• Working with Point of Sale System to ring up Guests
