Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is in Greenup County Kentucky. The Park itself has over 3,300 acres of land and a beautiful 225-acre lake.

The Park offers recreational opportunities to include camping, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, mini golf and lodging accommodation. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Park Worker to help maintainour parks trails, recreational areas, and public facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, trails, and other landscaped areas.
• Pick up litter and keep park grounds clean.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Assist with mowing, trimming, planting, and general landscaping.
• Clean and maintain park buildings, restrooms, playgrounds, and picnic areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Help prepare park facilities for events and activities.
• Help lead interpretive and recreational programming.
• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, trails, and other landscaped areas

Skills and abilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions


• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods


• Previous landscaping, maintenance, or parks experience is a plus but not required


• Able to speak publicly with groups of people


• Able to work well with kids


• Valid driver's license may be required
