Baker Tilly US, one of the leading CPA advisory firms, is seeking a State & Local Tax Manager (Income Franchise) to join our growing SALT practice. You will help clients manage multistate income and franchise tax obligations and provide planning to reduce expenses and improve cash flow.

Locations: Denver, Houston or Dallas. You will engage directly with CFOs and owners of middle-market clients and SALT leaders of Fortune 500s to solve complex state and local tax challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience in state and local tax (SALT) planning and compliance.
• Experience with multistate income/franchise tax.
• Ability to work with CFOs and owners of middle-market clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead SALT engagements for state and local tax clients.
• Advise Fortune 500 and middle-market clients on state and local tax strategy and compliance.
