Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required;Masters or advanced degree preferred.
• CPA, CMI or JD/LLM required.
• Three (3)+ years of experience in state and local tax; professional services firm experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Be a trusted advisor to middle market and Fortune 500 clients by providing strategic SALT consulting and compliance services.
• Manage state income and franchise tax compliance engagements, including multistate returns, estimates, extensions and workpapers.
• Build, review and analyze state income tax compliance workpapers including apportionment calculations and state modifications.
• Perform initial quality reviews of state returns and related workpapers, identifying issues and opportunities before finalization.
• Manage multi-disciplinary, multi-state reviews across taxes to identify optimal filing options and incentives.
• Research state tax issues including nexus, apportionment, taxability, and potential liabilities.
