Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional seeks an Executive: Field Account Executive - State and Local, New Business to grow new business across OH, PA, MI and IL. This field-based role requires regular in-person meetings and weekly presence at the Dayton, OH office.

You will prospect, build pipeline, conduct discovery, tailor proposals, and navigate state procurement processes, collaborating with Solutions Consultants, Marketing, Contracts and Sales leadership to win new business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in new business sales or consultative selling.
• Ability to independently develop a territory and create revenue opportunity.
• Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy to acquire State and Local Government customers.
• Identify and prospect into agencies and other eligible government organizations.
• Build a healthy pipeline through proactive outreach, referrals, and events.
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles from discovery to close and pricing proposals.
• Collaborate with Solutions Consultants, Marketing, Product, Contracts, and Sales leadership.
