H. T. PROF Group in Salem, OR is seeking an Audit Manager specializing in State & Local Government to lead audits and engagements with a fast track to Director/Partnership. This role offers a hybrid work environment and relocation assistance.

The Manager serves as liaison between Partner, clients, and staff, managing multiple audits, staffing, and engagement workflow while developing staff and cultivating client relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of public accounting experience in the public sector.
• Holds a current CPA license.
• Ability to lead and train staff and coordinate engagements.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and GASB standards.
• Experience with Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
• Not-for-profit audits exposure is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all phases of an audit or review engagement on multiple engagements.
• Maintain contact with clients throughout the year and build relationships.
• Inform Director/Partner of important developments and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and apply Firm standards.
• Ensure engagements are properly scheduled and budgeted.
• Understand the firm's audit approach and drive scope.
• Direct, train and review work of staff accountants.
• Participate in staff performance evaluations and coaching.
• Contribute to the Firm's business development efforts.
