Oracle is seeking a Cloud Solution Engineer for the State and Local Government industry to lead strategic opportunities, architect multi-cloud data strategies, and drive customer success across OCI and Oracle data platforms. You will engage with CIOs/CTOs, design scalable data architectures, and influence product direction through customer insights.

The role emphasizes executive communication, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering measurable business value within government workloads,

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in solution engineering, enterprise architecture, consulting, cloud architecture, or related customer-facing technical roles.
Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, cloud databases, analytics, AI/ML, data integration, governance, and modernization initiatives.
Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales to identify and advance strategic opportunities.
Architect multi-cloud data strategies using Oracle Database@AWS/Azure/GCP and OCI integration.
Lead technical discovery sessions and present technical and business solutions.
Develop executive-level presentations and technical proposals that articulate Oracle's differentiation.
Mentor and guide less experienced engineers and architects.
