Job summary
Oracle is seeking a highly accomplished Cloud Solution Engineer to join our North America Cloud Engineering organization, focused on the State and Local Government Industry. This role combines deep technical expertise in data platforms with OCI capabilities to modernize data estates and accelerate business transformation.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in solution engineering, enterprise architecture, consulting, cloud architecture, or related customer-facing technical roles.
- Proven success supporting complex enterprise technology sales cycles and strategic customer engagements.
- Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, cloud databases, analytics, AI/ML, data integration, governance, and modernization initiatives.
- Working knowledge of multicloud architectures and other major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance strategic opportunities involving Oracle's Data Platform portfolio and OCI services.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Data & Analytics, enterprise architects, and business leaders within government organizations.
- Architect multi-cloud data strategies and enable native operation in preferred hyperscalers while integrating with OCI.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer objectives and transformation initiatives.
- Develop executive-level presentations and proposals that articulate Oracle's differentiation and value.
