Job summary

ServiceNow in New York is seeking an Advisory Solution Consultant for State and Local to support Solution Sales with deep technical and domain expertise.

You will lead discovery workshops, answer technical questions, and help position our AI-enabled platform to meet customer needs while collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Professional Services. This role requires travel and a strong track record in pre-sales.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
• Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or cloud software solutions.
• Experience collaborating with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
• Territory management skills and driving execution across sales.
• Travel, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team.
• Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and align our solution with customer needs.
• Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues.
• Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements addressing customer needs.
• Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance team efficiency.
• Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
• Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.
