The role emphasizes governance, thorough documentation, and collaboration with vendors and stakeholders to deliver compliant solutions aligned with REAL ID and statewide tax and revenue initiatives.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience managing technology projects from initiation through completion.
• Experience implementing or modernizing general ledger, financial reporting, or tax systems.
• Experience with system migrations or cutovers to cloud services or web-based messaging protocols.
• Familiarity with formal government project governance frameworks and rigorous documentation standards.
• Active PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Experience supporting DMV/MVD projects or familiarity with REAL ID standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day progress by coordinating project schedules, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment among technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project plans, action items, and status reporting while proactively identifying and escalating risks to protect scope and quality.
• Coordinate testing phases, migration schedules, and go-live readiness reviews, serving as the central point of coordination during cutover events.
