The Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee seeks a GENERAL SERVICES SPECIALIST to provide high-level support to the Bureau of General Services and act as the section's purchasing/budget analyst. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, procuring commodities in MFMP, maintaining inventory, and approving p-card charges.

Preferred candidates have experience with MFMP/FLAIR, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to edit correspondence and reports.

Formación

• Experience with government purchasing and procurement processes.
• Experience monitoring budgets and reconciling p-card charges.
• Knowledge of MFMP and FLAIR or similar systems.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word; ability to draft and edit documents.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-level support to DOH/CCOC operations and budget monitoring.
• Prepare requisitions in MFMP; process purchases and approvals.
• Maintain supply inventory and process p-card charges; reconcile invoices.
• Serve as Level 02 p-card approver; track expenditures on budget spreadsheets.
• Coordinate office tasks; edit and disseminate DOH bulletins.
• Support facilities, safety, and leasing issues; manage calendars and SharePoint.
