Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee seeks a Government Operations Consultant I to provide budget and fiscal support for the Bureau of Environmental Health. This full-time, in-office role requires collaboration with fiscal management and program staff and reports to the Bureau Fiscal Manager.

The ideal candidate has state budgeting experience, invoicing experience, and works effectively within government processes. A relevant Associates degree is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of Department of Health budgeting and fiscal reporting requirements.
• Skilled with the Financial Information System, STMS, and Works.
• Skilled with updating the Budget Spending Plan.
• Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to deal with the public in a tactful and courteous manner.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

• This position is a highly responsible professional position in the Bureau of Environmental Health. The position provides budget and fiscal support for Bureau activities, implements business management practices, evaluates productivity and performance of the Bureau’s programs that have fiscal impact.
