Job summary

The State of Florida, Department of Management Services, Division of State Purchasing, is seeking a Purchasing Analyst for an on-site role in Tallahassee. This position focuses on procurement research, analysis, and documentation to support agency objectives and cost savings.

You will draft and review contracts, manage competitive solicitations (ITB, RFP, ITN), explore cooperative contracts, and help develop procurement strategies while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced government

Qualifications

• 1–2 years professional experience in procurement, market research, or contracts.
• Experience with government contracting is a plus.
• FCCM and FCCN certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, analysis, and documentation for procurement projects to align with agency objectives.
• Draft and review procurement documents and contracts ensuring compliance with state and legal requirements.
• Research cooperative contracts let by other governments to achieve best value for Florida.
