Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks a State AG Analyst to join our Government Affairs team in Washington, DC. You’ll analyze multistate AG trends, prepare briefing materials, and collaborate with legal and policy stakeholders to advise senior leadership.

You will use AI tools to streamline research, track enforcement actions, and develop proactive strategies while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. A Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in legal/government affairs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years in legal/government affairs or state/federal government.
• Ability to synthesize complex legal and policy information.
• Experience using AI tools to automate research.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with corporate political giving or reporting compliance is a plus.
• Team player with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Compile and distribute weekly State AG report across all 50 states.
• Monitor State AG media and social coverage; alert internal teams.
• Prepare briefing materials and presentations for State AG team and leadership.
• Create materials for C-suite on regulatory matters.
• Support Board decks with Government Affairs input.
• Coordinate with internal Legal and business units for accurate briefings.
• Analyze AG lawsuits and antitrust actions; track trends.
• Monitor FTC/DOJ proceedings involving State AGs.
• Track state legislation and privacy rulemakings with AG implications.
• Manage external government affairs communications with consultants.
• Oversee state corporate giving and reporting tracking.
• Conduct regulatory research using AI tools.
• Collaborate with State AG team on outreach.
