Job summary

biBerk seeks a State Filings Lead to ensure regulatory compliance across all states, coordinating with state departments, external reporting, and internal IT to validate system functionality. The role serves as a liaison to align product documents, filings, and statutory data with state requirements.

Responsibilities include leading filing initiatives, mentoring analysts, and overseeing annual compliance filings, with remote work optional and travel 1–2 times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of state product filings experience in the P&C industry.
• Position may be remote.
• Travel 1 to 2 times per year as required.

Responsibilities

• Team lead working on one or more initiatives.
• Mentor, coach, and train filing analysts.
• Conduct research and guidance on product compliance with state laws.
• Conduct filing activity in SERFF.
• Respond to regulatory objections by communicating with state departments.
• Inform Product/Underwriting of changes in forms and compliance issues.
• Coordinate with Product/Underwriting on WC updates from filings changes.
• Track ISO changes for Businessowners policies and coordinate implementation.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Manage CPUC filings and establish WC Bureau accounts.
• Other related duties as assigned.
