Job summary

MSIG USA seeks a detail-oriented State Filings Analyst to support preparation, submission, and management of insurance product filings with U.S. state departments for all commercial lines.

This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate filing records across jurisdictions. You will work cross-functionally with actuarial, underwriting, legal and compliance teams to gather required materials, track status, and ensure timely regulatory filings while maintaining

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in insurance regulatory filings, compliance, or related operations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: U.S. insurance regulations and multi-state filing requirements.
• Systems: Experience with SERFF and iFile platforms.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain standardized state filings processes.
• Prepare and submit insurance filings (rates, rules, forms, endorsements).
• Manage filings through SERFF, iFile, and other systems.
• Maintain form libraries, version control, and filing records.
• Interpret state regulations and filing instructions for requirements and exemptions.
• Coordinate with actuarial, underwriting, legal, compliance and product teams.
• Track filing status, objections, approvals, and effective dates.
• Draft and submit responses to regulator objections and inquiries.
