Job summary

Berkley Small Business Solutions (BSB) in the United States is seeking a qualifications-focused professional to manage state filings across multiple lines of business. This role collaborates with underwriting, actuarial, IT, and business development teams and serves as the liaison with Berkley Shared Services for filings with state departments of insurance.

The position is full-time and remote with a flexible schedule and benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor5s degree required.
• At least 4 years in a property & casualty insurer in a similar role.
• Experience with senior IT and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving & independent action planning.
• 2+ years with ISO/NCCI and knowledge of rates and rules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across functional areas to implement and execute transformative insurance products.
• Coordinate and manage all state filings for all lines of business with underwriting, actuarial, IT, and business development teams.
• Serve as the primary contact for Berkley Shared Services teams regarding state filings.
• Execute, manage, and report day-to-day state filings to the Department of Insurance.
• Support project delivery with IT, Shared Services, and business units.
• Monitor changes to compliance statutes, rates, rules, and circulars from state regulators.
