Job summary

MISTRAS is seeking an Assistant Technician local to Midland, TX to support Level II NDE activities. This full-time role emphasizes safety, quality, and environmental compliance, with opportunities to learn and grow in radiography under supervision.

Required are a High School diploma, State Card, and TWIC, plus the ability to travel and work varying shifts. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates who join the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid State Card and TWIC Card are required.
• Ability to travel to job sites and work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II NDE Technician with setup and teardown of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment and facilities in good condition.
• Document services provided and maintain accurate reports.
• Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate radiographic equipment only under supervision where applicable.
