Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking dedicated RT Assistants local to the Corpus Christi, TX area for a long term project. Start September 2026; duration approx. 6 months.

Assist the Level II NDE Technician with designated NDT methods while gaining experience in a safety‑driven environment. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing routine maintenance, documenting services, and adhering to all company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid TWIC Card is required.
• Ability to travel occasionally and work out of town on short notice.
• Strong communication with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
• Must follow precise directions and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II NDE Technician with designated NDT method activities.
• Set up and tear down of equipment; perform routine maintenance and upkeep.
• Document and report services performed.
• Learn and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Operate radiographic equipment only under supervision and within safety guidelines.
• Maintain security of equipment and restricted areas; respond to incidents as needed.
