Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. in Gulf Regional HQ, La Porte, TX, is seeking NDE/RT Assistants who are willing to travel nationwide to support projects and turnarounds.

The Assistant Technician will aid Level II NDE Technicians, assist with equipment setup and teardown, perform routine maintenance, document services, and learn required procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel on short notice domestically.
• Good communication with clients, supervisors and coworkers.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical documents is preferred.
• Able to follow precise instructions and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks and calibrations.
• Document services provided accurately.
• Operate radiographic equipment only under supervision.
• Ensure safety and adherence to NRC criteria.
