Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Cheyenne, Wyoming seeks a Startup I&C Lead to manage commissioning, startup, and initial operation of I&C systems on a major Combined Cycle Gas Turbine project. You will coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams, develop test procedures, and lead startup engineers.

Starting from Reston, VA, then long-term field relocation; project award contingent. Requires a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years' experience delivering large CC power projects; familiarity with CSU

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience in I&C/CSU on large-scale power projects.
Experience delivering large-scale combined cycle power projects and familiarity with commissioning processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and ability to coordinate cross-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing startup, commissioning, and initial operation of I&C systems.
Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to complete testing from component to integrated operation.
Develop test procedures, turn-over documentation, and training materials for client personnel.
Supervise and allocate work to I&C startup engineers, monitor progress and budgets.
Ensure compliance with Bechtel standards and regulatory requirements.
