Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a CSU I&C Specialist for the Cheyenne, WY project to lead commissioning and startup of I&C systems on a large gas-fired plant. You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure safe, efficient startup and testing, and deliver turnover packages.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–12 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and field leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience (or 9–12 years alternative).
• Experience delivering large-scale power project I&C commissioning and startup.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate startup-related engineering, construction, and client activities.
• Prepare operations manuals and test procedures.
• Plan scope, schedules, and budgets for CSU I&C.
• Develop progress reporting framework and monitor it with the team.
• Lead and supervise engineers, assign work and resources.
• Prepare system testing and turnover documentation.
