Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect for the AWS Startups team in Arlington, VA. You will work directly with startups to design scalable cloud architectures, guide adoption of AWS services, and help shape product feedback with engineering teams.

You will spend time learning new tech, creating technical content, and presenting at events, while building enduring relationships in the startup ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud, systems, security).
• Experience with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Help startups adopt the right architecture across lifecycle.
• Support startups in architecting scalable, reliable and secure solutions.
• Support adoption of a broad range of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth.
• Support the evolution and roadmap of the AWS platform and services, connecting engineers with customers for feedback.
• Establish and build technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators and VCs.
• Develop startup-specific technical content, such as blog posts and sample code to reduce time-to-market.
