Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Startup Solutions Architect to work with early-stage startups in the New York area.

You will translate business needs into scalable cloud architectures, advocate best practices, and help teams move quickly to deliver secure, cost-efficient solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support, lead POCs, and contribute content for the broader startup community while building lasting relationships with customers and shaping AWS

Qualifications

8+ years of in-depth technology experience across software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical advocacy as they build in the cloud.
Create plans with customer account teams to define how you will help startups with their cloud needs.
Share technical knowledge via startup-focused sessions with customers and partners.
Contribute to content delivered to the startup community at scale (videos, digital content).
