Job summary

North Shore CDJR, a brand-new dealership opening in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking an Assistant Controller to help build and lead the Accounting Department from day one. You will collaborate with the Controller and leadership to establish processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate month-end close, GL accuracy, and inventory reporting for a growing operation.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and dealership accounting experience; leadership potential and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Dealership accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Assist Controller with day-to-day accounting operations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
