Job summary

Classic CDJR of South Charlotte is seeking an enthusiastic and detail oriented Automotive Accounting admin. The role requires basic accounting skills, good administration, and knowledge of routine accounting functions within a dealership environment.

Proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel, 10-key by touch, and experience in automotive dealership accounting are preferred. The position offers a path for growth and development within the organization.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience required.
• Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Excellent multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Post Factory Invoices.
• Reconcile Factory Statements.
• Print AR statements.
• Daily bank reconciliations.
• Complete check requests.
• Assist with warranty adjustment postings.
• Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Post reserve statements.
• Backup Billing Clerk.
• Backup AP.
• Distribute intercompany mail.
• Maintain well-organized financial records and provide support to the Controller.
• Assist with additional accounting duties as needed.
