About the role

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Start Up Senior Business Development Manager for our client, an exciting European-based AI Software company! This fast-growing and well-funded tech company with exceptional products in AI and quantum computing is looking for an experienced BDM with expertise selling start-up solutions to US-based clients across multiple industries. In this role, you’ll partner with an exceptional team of technical experts to develop solutions for private sector client challenges. This is a full-time, direct hire, remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.

  • Base salary range is $150-200k, with OTE $300-350k
Key Responsibilities
  • Build a pipeline of clients for start-up services, identifying clients and bidding opportunities from scratch
  • Increase potential client pipeline by attending industry shows and conventions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers, delivering tailored solutions
  • Understand client needs and position the company's products effectively against competitors
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to stay updated on product capabilities and success stories
  • Coordinate with technical teams for demonstrations, evaluations, and training
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related fields
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Proven success in business development with exceeding sales quotas in the $10-15m range
  • Experience selling start-up products and building pipelines from scratch
  • Over 10 years of sales experience, including at least 2+ years in IT-related sales
